Apache Stables Horseback Riding

Just after leaving the park through the south gate heading south on 64 you will see Apache stables on your right. Make a right on Moqui Drive (forest service road 328) the stables will be just ahead.

Just outside the Grand Canyon National Park you will find a little treasure, Apache Stables. Ride through the Kaibab Forest and become one with nature as you escape the crowds.

Description
Enjjoy a peaceful ride through the Kaibab Forest. Along the way keep your eyes peeled for Mule Deer, Elk, Javalinas, and all sorts of wildlife and birds. Apache stables offers 1 and two hour rides and range in price from $45 to $85. You might also want to take a campfire ride (weather permitting). If you choose to do this by horseback you will ride back with the wagon ride. You may also choose to just do the wagon ride to the campfire. You can bring hot dogs, buns, snacks, and drinks, smore fixin’s, etc. and roast them over the open fire. These prices range from $25 to $55, with special pricing for 8 years and younger.
