From the North Rim Entrance Station, travel south along the North Rim Parkway until the road's end at the Grand Canyon Lodge. The trailhead is located on the west side of the parking area.

A short, easy hike that provides beautiful views into the Bright Angel Canyon. Before hiking Bright Angel Point Trail, contact the Park Service Visitors Center to check for updated information, including seasonal closures.

Description
This paved, wheelchair-accessable path begins adjacent to the Grand Canyon Lodge at the Bright Angel Point Trailhead. The trail travels south along the ridge separating the The Transept from Roaring Springs Canyon, and ends with a spectacular overlook into Bright Angel Canyon.

Begins at 8,160 feet with minimal change in elevation.
