GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, November 10, 2015 – A visit to Grand Canyon National Park will be even more affordable this winter as Grand Canyon National Park Lodges is offering reduced rates and special packages at four South Rim lodges.
“Hikers, photographers and visitors in general enjoy the Grand Canyon’s slower pace and more relaxed atmosphere in winter,” said Bruce Brossman, regional director of sales for Xanterra South Rim. “At the same time, the Canyon is just as awe-inspiring and fun as it is year-round.”
Travelers can wander through the Grand Canyon’s famed Historic District using a complimentary walking tour brochure as a guide, learn about the Canyon’s human history and geology on an interpretive Sunrise, Sunset or Hermit’s Rest motorcoach tour, shop for authentic Southwestern gifts in the historic Hopi House, hike into the Canyon, enjoy wrangler-led mule rides and warm up with hot meals in one of the several Xanterra-operated restaurants. Guests can also add a fun and scenic side trip by taking Grand Canyon Railway from Williams, Ariz. to the park.
Rates for all packages are based on double occupancy and do not include taxes or gratuities.
