Thunderbird Lodge

Conveniently located between El Tovar and Bright Angel Lodge, Thunderbird is a contemporary lodge.

Located on the Canyon rim, half of the rooms at the Thunderbird Lodges have partial canyon views. All of the rooms are ideally suited for families. Rooms have two queen beds or one king bed that are triple sheeted, in-room coffee, refrigerator, safe, television, telephone, and full bath. There are two rooms, with roll-in showers, designed for guests with physical disabilities. These accessible rooms cannot currently be reserved online. Please call Central Reservations for additional details, availability and to reserve an accessible room.

This lodge offers easy walking access to the dining facilities at either El Tovar or Bright Angel Lodge.

Guests staying at the Thunderbird Lodge check in at Bright Angel Lodge. Please note rooms with Canyon views cannot be guaranteed. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.  If you smoke in the guest room your credit card will be charged $175.
